Holi is special day for Hindus. The day also signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of god Vishnu as Narasimha Narayana over Hiranyakashipu.

On this day, Bhagatji Maharaj, regarded as the second spiritual successor of Swaminarayan was born. His discourses were instrumental in propagating the belief that Swaminarayan was Purushottam, the Supreme Being, and that his own guru, Gunatitanand Swami, was Akshar, the divine abode of God.
